MICROALLOYING EFFECT OF BORON ONCOPPER-BASE ALLOYS

Abstract:The microstructure and properties of boron-modified copper-base alloys were investi-gated by tension，corrosion，corrosive wear and erosion tests. The results show that by adding boron in copper-base alloys .the strength and hardness of alloys increase，the plasticity decreases somewhat;the corrosion, corrosive weal and erosion resistance of boron-modified copper-base alloys improve obvious-ly.
